SAMSUNG TREATS
RETAIL DESIGN
In this project, we were tasked to design a retail concept for Samsung’s microwave ovens.
Through our research, we discovered that many customers are unaware of Samsung brand ovens, but are keen to
find out more. Many customers also prefer to purchase ovens in-store as they seek physical interaction with the product before making decisions.
Therefore, our solution focuses increasing awareness of Samsung microwave ovens, whilst educating customers on their features in an exciting and engaging way. Our proposed design concept taps on the idea of gamification to create viral marketing. This is done by encouraging shareability of innovative and fun retail experiences, thus helping to spread greater awareness.
